Here’s How to Unclog A Toilet without A Plunger

You do not necessarily have to use a plunger/force cap to unclog your toilet. Follow these simple steps:

- Pour a very nice amount of dishwasher soap or liquid laundry detergent into your toilet bowl. About half-a-cup would do.

- Let the liquid soap/detergent sit in the bowl undisturbed for 30-40 minutes or you can leave it overnight too.

- After 30 minutes, slowly pour warm water into your toilet using a bucket. Make sure you don’t overflow the toilet with water.

- You’ll notice that the water will slowly go down the toilet, that is a sign of unclogged toilet!

Pro Tip: People who tried this trick said that liquid laundry detergents give better results than detergent soaps.

You can add few drops of your favorite essential oil and flush after you complete this whole procedure to let your toilet smell fresh.

If the toilet doesn’t get unclog in the first attempt, we recommend you to try several times as this is the most effective solution available for unclogging a toilet without a plunger. This trick will work because liquid soaps are thicker than water, which can easily unclog the drain.
